HMS Therapy Services’ mission is to promote quality care in emotional and mental health through serving clients and businesses through counseling.

Based in College Park, Maryland, HMS Therapy Services, LLC provides professional individual and group counseling services. As a resource for new counselors/therapists in the field, HMS offers clinical supervision to new therapists seeking to become fully licensed. HMS Therapy Services strives to create a warm and trustworthy atmosphere as we help you address life challenges.

Carisa Oyebanjo is the founder and president of HMS Therapy Services, LLC. Carisa has her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. She has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years.

HMS Therapy Services’ mission is to promote quality care in emotional and mental health through serving clients and businesses through counseling . Carisa established HMS Therapy Services after working for many years in counseling. Prior to opening HMS Therapy Services, she worked with individuals, couples, families and children by providing counseling services. In addition, Carisa held leadership positions in mental health companies in areas of program management. She provides clinical supervision and training to other counselors and therapists. She has presented numerous workshops and trainings on Stress Management, Depression, Anxiety and a variety of work-life/mental health topics. She was a guest speaker on a local radio program in the Washington, DC area, providing quality information on mental health.

Carisa is a Co-Founder and Presenter at the Renew and Revitalize Marriage Conference. Carisa is the Co-Founder and Vice President of the Renew and Revitalize Marriage & Family Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves marrieds, children and families.

Carisa is passionate about reducing and eliminating the stigma of mental health and actively helps to coordinate workshops on pertinent mental health topics in the faith community.On a personal note, Carisa has been happily married for over 19 years and has two beautiful children. She enjoys her work tremendously and is enthusiastic to share information about how to take care of oneself emotionally with all who will listen.
